Say Hey to my OTK’s

Thank you Stuart Weitzman for designing the world’s finest boots. And that certainly doesn’t come lightly! I’m serious. These are incredible OTK (Over The Knee) boots.

They’re almost too good to wear, I feel I should be admiring them hung on my wall or on my mantle piece. I have basically been doing that since I bought them at Christmas. They have remained perfectly laid in the original box, wrapped up in the Stuart Weitzman tissue paper, complete with boot shapers and smothered in protector spray, occasionally being disturbed by me just to check they’re okay, you know? But I have braved the outdoors with them on my feet and took them for a little stroll around the park. Fabulous, glorious, beautiful boots, how do you do it?

I Am Wearing
Boots – Stuart Weiztman at Russell and Bromley,
Shirt – Ralph Lauren
Jacket – H&M, Leggings – H&M, Scarf – H&M,
Bag – Miss Selfridge, Earrings – Tiffany & Co,
Lipstick – Barry M (with MAC Lip Pencil)

So you may think I’m totally over reacting here. After all they are just boots right. But I have never found any like these before! They fit the leg perfectly because of the elasticated back, so whatever size you are, these are going to fit like a glove.

I wore them with my new Ralph Lauren tartan shirt with leggings and a big ol’ woolly scarf….not forgetting this cute Miss Selfridge mini satchel I found in the sale a few weeks ago.

I find they are the perfect height for me too. I have been hunting for some OTK’s for so long and most of them that I found are literally knicker skimmers (almost reach your knickers!) Yes, they do look great on some people – tiny models with sky high legs that are taller than the whole height of me, for instance! But these ones are only just over the knee and don’t make me look like I’m auditioning for Pretty Woman.

The leather is so soft, I’m almost too scared to touch it incase it disintegrates under my fingertips!

I just wish I had purchased these at the start of Winter rather than half way through the season. Usually I’d be longing for Summer by now but to be perfectly honest, Summer can wait. I’m having far too much fun wearing my boots!
